The IO Section is dedicated to the study of contemporary and historical international integration processes, transnational interactions, and formal and informal international institutions. At present, there are some 750 IO Section members, mainly comprised of international relations scholars, practitioners, and graduate students.

When you become an ISA member, you can add on an IO membership for a low fee. Membership dues help to support section activities and awards.
