Following the announcement of the expansion of our virtual capacity for Nashville, we are pleased to announce participants are now able to request a conversion for individual papers on the program. The deadline to submit a conversion/rescheduling request is January 15th - No requests can be submitted or accommodated after this date, No exceptions.

 

There are two types of change requests you can make for individual papers you wish to disconnect from your current panel:

 

Any request to convert a Paper, Poster Paper, Research Sound Byte, or Flash Talk will result in that item being disconnected from the panel that it was originally associated with. If you would like to request a conversion for the full panel, you should connect with your fellow panelists in order to submit a full panel conversion request. 

STEP 1:   In order to initiate a change request, please navigate to your Participation Hub and identify the paper for which you would like to request a change:

Please note: All authors on a paper must participate in the same format (all in-person or all virtual). “Hybrid” sessions (that is, papers with both virtual and in-person authors) will not be possible in Nashville. 

 

 

STEP 2:   Identify the type of change that you are requesting from the dropdown list provided:

STEP 3:   After selecting the change type, you will be asked to identify the type of transition that you are requesting:

STEP 4:   After selecting your item type choices, you may then prioritize your choices based on which is most preferred. Please note: you are not required to select all available choices, but doing so will make it more likely that the Program Chairs are able to accommodate your request. 

STEP 5:   You have the ability to add notes for the reviewers of your request at the bottom of the screen. Before submitting, you must check the box where you acknowledge that you have communicated the proposed changes to the other participants on this item. It is required that all participants on your item are aware of and consent to the requested changes.

Only one conversion request can be submitted per paper. After submitting your request, you will see the text "A request for a change in time or place was submitted" displayed directly beneath your item in your Participation Hub:

The deadline to submit a conversion/change request is January 15th - no requests can be submitted or accommodated after this date - no exceptions. ISA is a large and complex meeting, made even more so by balancing in-person and virtual components. As a result, the program and its scheduling has to be finalized months in advance. We recommend that participants initiate any conversion/change requests as soon as possible (as it increases the likelihood that we will be able to accommodate the request).  

 

Please note: “Hybrid” sessions (that is, panels/roundtables with both virtual and in-person participants) will not be possible in Nashville. However, onsite participants will be able to participate in and attend virtual sessions as well as in-person sessions.
