The Long Range Planning Committee aims to ensure the long term success and efficiency of ISA by promoting consistency between ISA governance and practice. The committee makes recommendations to the Executive Committee regarding Amendments needed and/or proposed to the ISA Constitution, the annual convention, ISA affiliate-organization status, membership, and other related issues. In recent years, the Committee has helped plan for the transition for one ISA Headquarters to the next.

The Long Range Planning Committee is a permanent standing committee of ISA. Committee members are appointed by the ISA President and approved by the ISA Governing Council.

Membership and Terms

• Nine committee members serve two-year, staggered terms
• Terms officially begin with the ISA Governing Council meeting of the first year listed and end with the closing of the ISA Governing Council meeting of the final year listed
• The President, Past-President, President-Elect, Executive Director and Director of Operations of ISA will serve as ex-officio members
