September 26th - 27th Westin Pasadena, Pasadena, California, USA
You can see and contact your panels through your ISA page http://www.isanet.org/Conferences/West-Pasadena-2014/Program. We ask that chairs contact their panel about preferred details. ISA West does have AV this year. Each panel, however, will need someone to volunteer to bring a laptop. The hotel is providing the projector and screen in each breakout room. MAC users will need to provide an adaptor. Also, please urge your panelists to have their papers to the discussant no later than two weeks in advance.
In order to access your panelists' email addresses, please go to the the "Program and Events" page. (Please note, to access your fellow panelist's email addresses, you will need to login to your ISA account.) Next, please select the "My Program" button in the upper right hand corner. You'll find the panels you are on there as well as a "details and emails" link directly under the title(s) of the panel(s) you are on.
ISA West would like to remind you that the deadline to submit papers, panels and roundtables for the September 26 & 27 conference in Pasadena, California, is this June 7th.
It will be a special conference this year, as ISA West is very proud to announce the creation of the Ole R. Holsti Distinguished Scholar Award. The Ole R. Holsti Distinguished Scholar Award was established to recognize Ole R. Holsti for his extraordinary role within the ISA West region and his contributions to the international studies community as a whole. The Ole R. Holsti Distinguished Scholar will have an exceptional record of scholarship in international studies, a distinguished record of teaching and mentorship, as well as service to the International Studies Association West region. At this year’s conference, Dr. Holsti will launch the award with the keynote speech at our Saturday luncheon. The nominations for the first recipient will take this fall with the first award presented at ISA West 2015.
ISA West is pleased to announce its call for nominations for the 2015 ISA West annual conference chair. The conference program chair serves simultaneously as the program chair and the region vice president, and will serve as the 2016 ISA West President. Nominations and self nominations are welcome. Please send nominations to Amy Eckert.
